I got a .pages file from a friend and, of course, couldn't open it. It was made on a (shudder) Mac. I got this tip from the web, though on opening it. Save the .pages file, change the extension to .zip, double click to unzip. In the zip file there will be a file called preview.pdf which will be the .pages doc converted to pdf. Walla! Rocky
