[AccessD] SQL Server times link as str

I am linking to tables with date / time fields in SQL Server.  The field in Access says it is a 
date.  This appears to be causing all kinds of issues.  I cannot see any way to intercept the link 
and tell the wizard that a specific field is a specific data type.  Is there any way to fix this?
