That's an odd one.

Perhaps if you try changing the Database Sort setting. You get at that from the Access windows, not the IDE window. Got to Tools/Options and select the 'General' tab. There's an option there for 'New database sort order'. Hopefully if you change that to something other than 'General' and then change it back again then that will fix the problem.

How do I get the Option Compare Database to be inserted into the modules automatically?  For some reason the new modules are coming up with Option Explicit but *not* Option Compare Database.

Normally it is the other way around.

The Tools / Options / Editor / Require variable declaration checkbox is checked.  I am not seeing anything anywhere that allows me to set the "compare" option.
