You could well be right.  However, in all my innocence I am still 
campaigning for American citizens to to take part in their local 
government, which as I understand it truly is our responsibility as 
citizens.  I'll try not to jump up on my soapbox here, but suffice it to 
say that I believe it is my duty to hold my government accountable, and 
I can do that effectively only at the local level.
