Mark: You can extend that capability by having you access application re-write various web pages and then call them. In a number of POS systems, I do that with personalized invoices or sales brochures and so on. You just open the web page, within Access, re-write it, then call it and/or just mail it. By picking from a set of pre-design page, modifying the variables the page can be made to look like anything; add all the graphics/header/footers you want, even embed links to your web site or add movies and sounds. All this can leverage a vanilla Access package further than just a local PC app to a full web based control center and you don't have to be a web-guru to do it...just understand the basics of a web page. Have you considered using many tiny labels that conform to the underlying image in a pixel sort of fashion ? You'll have to encapsulate them in a class so you can have your action fire from a single event handler. -- AccessD mailing list AccessD at databaseadvisors.com http://databaseadvisors.com/mailman/listinfo/accessd Website: http://www.databaseadvisors.com
