I have not yet but have planned to look serious at VoltDB as it has clients
for both Node.js and .Net (c#). http://voltdb.com

If I can not talk a client into having me do some designing it will have to
be a winter project.

Hi all

Has any of you used/tested one of the NewSQL database engines mentioned in
the link below?

I noticed that NimbusDB has become NuoDB. One of the founders is Jim
Starkey, the man behind InterBase -> FireBird and later the Falcon engine
for MySQL. In other words, nothing fancy here but a true understanding of
SQL and ACID.

Hi Jim --

Have a look:

"Facebook trapped in MySQL 'fate worse than*death'"
http://gigaom.com/cloud/facebook-trapped-in-mysql-fate-worse-than-death/

"What database does Facebook
use?"http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3479720/what-database-does-facebook-
use

Just facts, no criticism - anyway - Facebook is a great social web site, and
as Arthur I do envy the engineers who are keeping such an*immense*set of SQL
and NoSQL databases and media files up & running so smoothly...

Thank you.
