I think I did mention the new Postgres-XC which does fall in the category of NewSQL. So what FE clients can it use? ASP.Net, Node.js, PHP, Python...? But I wonder why people so often forget about Postgres. It's a stunning database - much better than MySQL in all things that matter and can certain compete head to head against these NewSQL dbs. It's strange. - Hans Sent from my iPhone On 2012-07-21, at 10:25 AM, "Jim Lawrence" <accessd at shaw.ca> wrote: > I have not yet but have planned to look serious at VoltDB as it has clients > for both Node.js and .Net (c#). http://voltdb.com > > If I can not talk a client into having me do some designing it will have to > be a winter project. > > Jim > > -----Original Message----- > From: accessd-bounces at databaseadvisors.com > [mailto:accessd-bounces at databaseadvisors.com] On Behalf Of Gustav Brock > Sent: Saturday, July 21, 2012 3:46 AM > To: accessd at databaseadvisors.com > Subject: Re: [AccessD] NewSQL (was: Fun and games in web design) > > Hi all > > Has any of you used/tested one of the NewSQL database engines mentioned in > the link below? > > I noticed that NimbusDB has become NuoDB.
