LOL, Charlotte... From my immediate previous response... The control HAS the focus. I am TYPING IN IT. In the ONCHANGE event I ask for ThixCtl.text and am told "the text property is only available if the control has the focus" Understand this appears to be a "special case" that a million others are complaining about on Google, and have since the early 2000s. 1) Bound form 2) No data displayed on the form.
