Well done, Arthur. Very pleased to hear it, and glad that an expert of your status gets better treatment. And of course, zillions of people must have had a satisfactory experience. However, when I looked at the web, thanks to Uncle Google, I found that I was certainly not alone. When 8 killed my PC, once again the web showed that a lot of experienced coders as well as those with less knowledge also suffered from the 'upgrades' they had bought. Windoze had websites set up to answer the problems. But you couldn't email for help, you had to phone certain helpers depending on where you were based. I tried many times over several days to get through but without any success. Very good to hear from you, by the by, Arthur. Over the years, I have followed many of your threads, and those you have helped. I seem to recall that many years ago you were seriously unwell. A friend of mine was suffering from an almost identical problem. He was also a very knowledgeable and helpful fellow. It was a great relief when I read that you were out of the serious zone and were recovering. On 4 November 2013 22:15, Arthur Fuller <fuller.artful at gmail.com> wrote: > Boy o boy o boy.
