Hi Jim:

No, there was no solution provided.  Try Googling it.  I'm surprised, and
I'm not being sarcastic here, that you've never seen this before.  For me,
it's one of those "Oh, shit!" moments when I run "ipconfig /all" and see
169.254...... It's happened to me many times.

When I see it, I start unplugging/re-plugging cables, rebooting the modem,
etc. etc.
