Two alternatives to installing the Adobe PDF Printer:

1. If it 's Access 2010, don't print to a PDF printer, output direct to PDF instead,

2. Try installing a different PDF printer and printing to that instead, such as PDFCreator. 


Both are likely to be much faster. Adobe is a dog. .
