[AccessD] Can a "Scheduled" Access application run under Windows Server 2012 in “Logged Off” Mode?

I wonder how you did this in W2003. To my best knowledge you can't run a desktop app without a logon.

Even if you should succeed, W2012 (R2) is not intended for this purpose. Create a Hyper-V virtual machine running Windows 8.1 (fastest) or another desktop OS. Configure this to always start and, when started, to autologon to a restricted user account.

Earlier, I posted a question that involved a script initiating an Access application.  After doing a fair amount of experimenting, I believe that this problem has nothing to do with the script.

I think that it all boils down to whether it is possible to run an Access application in “Logged Off” mode under Windows Server 2012 R2.

I have a number of automated report jobs that pull data from SQL Server, Pervasive, and Firebird databases to create reports every night.  These jobs have worked nicely for over five years while running on an old server with Windows Server 2003.

Now, with the upgrade to new hardware and Windows Server 2012, I cannot get any Access application to run in logged off mode via the Task Scheduler.

Has anyone been able to do this?

Have others run into this same problem?

We are migrating from Windows Server 2003 to 2012.  I would guess that 2008 and 2011 are similar to 2012.
