Yeah, Rocky -- that's no problem at all. I'm redoing the basic queries this morning and I decided to use the built-in lookups at the table level for the lookup fields. I know, I know.... but since I'm taking the easy route, seems a no-brainer to me. I tried to get it to take a self join, but didn't work -- so I guess it can't accommodate that one. I'm going to go do a bit of research just to make sure. Susan H.
