Hi Paul, Another thing that might be helpful to you is the Visual Studio Community Edition. From what I can tell, this is essentially (or exactly?) the same as Visual Studio Professional (~ $500), except that for individual developers or organizations where there are 5 or fewer developers, the community edition is free. Download here: http://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/news/vs2013-community-vs.aspx Also, there is database advisors list named dba-VB. This is the place for discussions on using Visual Studio, although many folks on Access-D use VS anyway. However, I do think that the name dba-VB might be outdated. We might consider adding a list named dba-VS (for Visual Studio) to cover all programming within that application. Have fun!
