[AccessD] Visual Studio conflict

Is there a URL to the archive of the messages in this forum?  I saw several posts, most recently by John C, regarding a problem with the Visual Studio editor opening up when editing in Access (or something along those lines).  Want to install the Community edition but do not want to jeopardize my access environments.  Hoping there was a response with a resolution that I can locate.  Thank you.
