[AccessD] Citrix Weirdness ... or maybe it's ME

Granted the state of California is known for its weirdness, but my contract
is taking it to new heights.  Today I opened a production copy of one of
the apps I'm supporting and found what appeared to be an older database
that had had the upsizing wizard run on it.  Unfortunately, even though
others saw the thing in passing, I'm the only one who got in and looked
around to try and figure out what was going on.  Someone else was holding
the database open so I got the server people to boot them out and carefully
renamed the oddball database then copied in a new copy from my archives.

Later on, I went back to look at the renamed database again (and there was
no question it was the same name I gave it) and saw only a normal looking
database, no SQL links, no "local" links from the original Access tables,
and nothing odd about it at all--except for the fact that it looked totally
different from what I had seen a few hours earlier.

Has anyone else ever run into this kind of strangeness?  The only Citrix
connection is that I was told everyone in the office was off the database,
and the only way anyone else runs it is through Citrix, which has its own
strangeness.
