[AccessD] Word Automation

Dear List:

 

This is a word automation problem in reverse.  Instead of pushing data onto
a word form, the user , using a form they've used for a long time, wants the
Access DB to get the info from the word form.  

 

Their process is that the person taking an order fills out the form, prints
it and passes it to the person entering it into the DB. (Yes, I know they
shouldn't do it that way.)

 

The form already had text form fields for all the fields which I bookmarked
to the fields in a table. 


The problem is that when one of the fields has data entered into it. The
bookmark disappears, so that when my program tries to find the bookmark to
get the data in the document's field, the bookmark is missing.

 

Which means I'm also missing something.  How can one preserve the bookmark
after data has been entered into the document's field?
