I caught it, and despite the fact that I'm in the high-risk group (over 70 years), I won the battle. It can be done, apparently. A couple of weeks of quarantine and a couple more weeks in the hospital, and at last I'm home again. My best friend moved in and took care of my cats. All is well. We're all still in the "Stay Home" mode,  but I'm OK with that. I have my books and movies and the freezer is full, and a brief walk to the park and back is all I need. For a while I thought that this was the end,  but I was wrong.
I didn't mean to bore you with the details, just to explain my absence.
