  How you use a tool against a given database is another story, but certainly searching objects for a string is not all that difficult.

  Anyone using any F&R utility can wreck a database if they are not careful.

I promise you it isn’t (doable) in plenty of robust applications I have seen that store the queries they want to run in a table. Once you start trying to do search and replace *within* strings of data, stuff goes sideways real fast, and it is irreversible.
