I didn't need to register it again. I guess the registration details were already saved in the repl9.ini file.
Maybe I just copied one of the following lines into the new repl9.ini file from my old file:
InstallInfo=
Code=

And I have it working, but when I register, it says it did so but continues to display as unregistered.
The ini file is in the windows directory. I did have to go give all users all permissions before it stopped complaining about permissions and said it was registered. But it isn't. The ini file has valid stuff including the (very old) company name and my name which I put in there when I did the register thing today. The code is obfuscated of course, looks like a complete mess.
I had to get a registry key inserted as well.
