[AccessD] Access 32-64 bit question

It recompiles the VBA code on the fly to 64 bit.

If it can't do that, it does not allow you to open the DB. You'll get:

"This database was created with the 32-bit version of Microsoft Access.
Please open it with the 32-bit version of Microsoft Access."

Office 64 bit can only run in 64 bit mode and Office 32 bit can only run in
32 bit mode.

Jim.

Subject: [AccessD] Access 32-64 bit question

Assume Access 365 53-bit. Assume an Access 32-bit ACCDB. How does Access
load it? Does it simply load it as 32-bit and run it, or try to convert it?
And if the latter, and the conversion fails, then what happens? Does Access
revert to 32-bit (not the program, but the way it accesses the file of
interest)?
