[AccessD] Lock File Problem

I should add though that it doesn’t necessarily mean a quick fix.
It depends on what (and who) broke things. If the problem lies within the scope of the Access team, it should be a quick fix. If it lies with the Windows guys....well, we're still waiting for the leasing problem to be fixed, it's now going on three years.

They are acutely aware of the problem, and given the impact, I would suspect it went right to the top of the list.

Does MS plan to fix it? Hot fix or only when channel updates come out?
Many businesses install updates as they are released because of security
paranoiac IT and Risk Managers…. So I don’t think too many businesses are
going to be fond of MS just telling people to roll back??
