Thank YOU for prompting me to look at the topic.

I haven't worked with HTML data in recent Access versions.   I've now realised that it is 
MUCH simpler to do that it used to be (back when it was all RTF, not HTML) and I'll be 
using it now for things like enabling users to customize  report contents and for simpler 
design of fixed report components.
