I recommend installing www.portableapps.com and installing LibreOffice
Portable Still from that.  Updates are automatic (and bundled with updates
to other useful PortableApps stuff).
The LibreOffice Portable Fresh version updates itself more often than I
would like.
Installing LibreOffice directly from  LibreOffice never was good at keeping
itself up to date without a manual process to update each PC that I
tired of.  I switched from OpenOffice to LibreOffice way back at version 4.
I did have to tell windows that various file types should be opened using
the LibreOffice .exe  located within the hard drive folder structure I
assigned PortableApps to use.  That is a one time exercise per PC.

This could save you from getting frustrated in a few years time after
microsoft convince their customers to use even newer features designed to
not work in today's LibreOffice.  Compatibility will be maintained.
