You beat me by a few months.  I started with Access in early 1993
I was  regularly using Dataflex from 1986 but phased it out between 1993 and 1995 in favour 
of Access.

And it wasn't VBA then :)

Ver 1 ( Oct/Nov 1992)  didn't have any form of Basic. 
Ver 1,1 (May 1993) introduced "Access Basic Programming Language" and continued 
it in Ver 2.
Access 95 introduced VBA in 1995
