[AccessD] Windows11 pro

Hi John

Perhaps. I'm not familiar with the Home version, but we've used Windows 11 Pro/Workstation/Enterprise since the release and now on all desktops/laptops with zero issues.

I don't like the start menu - too much 7-style for me - but I can live with it. You will probably love it.

The only modification we apply is to remove the "widgets" and, in Edge, all the preinstalled shortcuts, clean the interface to minimalist, set all privacy settings to off, and install Adblock Plus. It takes a minute or so. Again, zero issues with Edge and Bing, and Chrome is banned to prevent our full browsing history to be tracked by Google.

One area that is vastly improved with Windows 11 is the Windows Update. This alone should kill any resistance to upgrade.

I have resisted upgrading to windows 11 forever because it seems like a big advertisement. I just got an offer to buy the pro version for $25 from stack social. Is there any chance that the pro version will be less obnoxious than the home version?
