[AccessD] VBA sending emails

Just to be clear, are you talking about acting as an SMTP server and sending directly to the 
destination domain's mail server (using their MX record)  or just acting as an MSA (mail 
submission agent) and connecting  to an SMTP server that knows you?   

Blat does the former.
