If no CDO, you'll need a third-party tool. And these days with increasing demand for security, do go for a paid tool with a proven track record and proper support like:

Alternatively, forget SMTP and use a modern API like that of Mailjet:

https://www.mailjet.com/products/email-api/

Both highly recommended.
