Dear Database Advisors List Member:

It is written that people do not live by bread alone. But sometimes you do
need a little.

Your DBA list is running out of bread. OK – it has run out of bread. And
John Bartow has generously kept it going for the present. But this is not
obviously a sustainable business model. J

And so we turn to you, the members, for a little bread to keep the lists
alive.

All of your donations will go to the company that hosts the web site and
associated mail lists. Your contribution is tax deductible.

The numbers are not great. It costs less than $300 a year to maintain the
lists, and so our goal in this fund raiser is $600. That way we won’t have
to come asking for more dough for two years.

Between the 5 lists we have almost 600 people registered, half of them
between AccessD and OT. Another 100+ on SQL Server. So it seems quite
doable.

I have primed the pump with a donation of $100.

Here’s the donation page: HTTPS://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/299AB2L77PRXY
<https://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/299AB2L77PRXY>

You can contribute by PayPal, Venmo, or Credit Card. (Easy, no?)

I thank you in advance and look forward to seeing your generous donations.

Rocky Smolin

Long Time DBA Guy
