size=2>BTW, this is one of the things that .NET is supposed to bring to the
table, no more overwriting system DLLs. Since the runtime for .net is
only about 20 megs, you can literally "xcopy" an entire copy of your system,
complete with the runtime that you use, into a specific directory and tat is
what is used for your app. You don't overwrite other peoples stuff,
they don't overwrite yours.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

practice to overwrite system dll's that are older than the one you're
sending out, without asking or telling? A user here installed a demo which
installed a version of oleaut32.dll. Their version was newer but it stll
messed up my Access app, specifically where it talked to Outlook. Do I
