<P>Why are you doing it? The reason I ask is, I used to have problems with 'ticks' (and lice) however changing my update method from a recordset to a SQL statement got rid of the problem and allowed freedom of entry for users and no hassle removing and replacing those characters for me...this is probably not relevant to you. I don't believe there is any way other than searching for the characters, keeping track of where you are in the data and replacing with char(32) [space] using all the less than fabulous string functions.</P>
