using a lower case z for those items on which we were using the tilde. But
Lambert's solution works perfectly well if I implement it correctly. Which
I did after a few tries. So the tildes sort to the bottom of the list and
all's well in Del Mar. For the moment.</FONT></DIV>

of a combo box so that items with the special character sort at the bottom
of the list. (The items come from a table). So I tried using a
tilde ~ because its ASCII value is 126, greater than any number
or upper or lower case letter. But it sorts to the top of the
