[dba-SQLServer]OT: combine multiple RTF files into one?

Won't a dos command work? Are there special heads and tails to worry about?
If not, then this should work:

copy file1+file2+file3+etc output1.rtf

You'll need to group them like this to avoid spilling over the command-line
length.

Or am I missing something?
