[dba-SQLServer] Calling Views From another Database but applying them to THIS database

I have been reading a thread on this subject in one of the many SQL
lists I subscribe to. I scanned the recent emails and cannot find the
thread here, so it may have hit me from another list. Point is, I think
that I have figured out how to do it. So if the question did in fact
arise on this list, would the question-poser please reply so that I can
send a test query to confirm or deny that my solution works?
