Robert, Before I start another topic, let's be clear. Are you saying that there is no usage for denormalized design in a transcationsal database or are you just saying it is unlikely in general? Again, I would take exception to the "should be normalized" if you are making a blanket statement for all transactional database, but not if you were to say in general or with possible exceptions.
