I did download the evaluation ad am testing it now. No restrictions are mentioned anywhere either on their site nor in the software as it runs. I am interested for the simple reason that the nVLDB I am dealing with is already way to big to backup in the normal manner and takes way to long as well. The web site says that huge space savings are available because they use compression and that the software also performs backups much faster, 2 to 3 times faster (or more). My database is already 260 gbytes and will grow as I add indexes to the table. I definitely need this kind of speed / size help if I am going to get the database backup happening automatically. I am currently manually zipping the files but that is not a good long term solution. John W.
