A schedule DTS package is a good way to handle this. Doris Manning Database Administrator Hargrove, Inc. -----Original Message----- From: dba-sqlserver-bounces at databaseadvisors.com [mailto:dba-sqlserver-bounces at databaseadvisors.com] On Behalf Of Joe Rojas Sent: Tuesday, July 12, 2005 11:30 AM To: 'dba-sqlserver at databaseadvisors.com' Subject: [dba-SQLServer] Progmatic data import Hi All, If I want to import data, say every night, into SQL Server 7 from a comma delimited text file, what is the best way to achieve this? Is this where DTS comes in? The text file will be uploaded via FTP to the server that is running SS7 so it will be local to that server. Thanks!
