[dba-SQLServer] Experience Connecting to Clearpath IX6800

converting to XML is just a matter of using the for xml feature, I've yet to
find a good method of extracting the for xml feature straight out of sql
server. Generally I build a webservice (if this data will be used often)
otherwise just a view and export right out of Access 2003 as XML.

(what do others do?)
