[dba-SQLServer] Building a pass through query

A couple of things come to mind...

1)  Do your tables have Primary Keys?  If not, they won't be updatable
outside of SQL.

2)  Did you give your SQL Login "dbo" permissions to the database so it
could execute stored procedures and views?
