IME, Vista works best when purchased w/ new hardware, not for upgrading... sorry it's just the way I've seen it. Every install of Vista on existing hardware ('cept vm which is why i ventured to try it on physical systems) has been a disaster. My brother in law whom is 16 absolutely loves Vista, he had a chance to get his hands on it at school, of course.. w/ new hardware. I argued that, the os is not mature enough until SP2 at least but he did not think that was the case and wanted to buy it for home, until his teacher tried to upgrade one of the existing core2duo systems at school, it went belly up and their tech people had to go in and replace the machine w/ a working xp box :). Only the newer pc's that are purchased w/ Vista seem to work well, all others beware... -- my 2 cents On 5/13/07, Michael Maddison <michael at ddisolutions.com.au> wrote: > > So true, > > I just install Vista for the 1st time...
