A reader has a peculiar question -- at least, it is peculiar to me. They receive timestamped records from other time zones. When they receive them, SQL Server adjusts them to the current time zone! I'm aghast, but that seems to be what's happening. They control both sides of the data, so they're in a position to adjust either end. I just wouldn't have expected that to happen. Is this normal? Is there an easy way to tell SQL Server not to adjust time values? Susan H.
