[dba-SQLServer] Off The Beaten Path

Perhaps you could point me to some articles describing why I should learn
this, because so far I have failed to see its point. Seems to me they are
just stuffing everything into a database, which I could just as simply do
myself. But I've been wrong before, so this wouldn't come as big news.
