[dba-SQLServer] SQL 2008, SQL 2008 R2, SQL Server Denali CTP3.

I haven't tried this scenario, is R2 an instance or it's own default instance?

If the latter then you can uninstall it without issues. I haven't read
about Denali, what new features are there?
