Dear List(s):

It is with great gratitude that I can report the success of our
fundraising effort. We received contributions from 25 members so far (and
pledges for more), from 8 different countries, averaging $40 per
contribution, and  so netted a bit over $1,000. Thanks to your generosity,
this will keep the lists going for three years at least.
