I am trying to get IIS set up again on my computer. I had it running once using an odd TCP Port (54637) instead of the normal 80. I have IIS running, and if I just use 80 I get the web site served up, the same data as my real web site - just so I know it's working. However if I go in to the properties for the site and enter 54637 as the tcp port, I can't see the site, even locally. Am I correct that if you use anything other than 80 you have to put in the workstation name or local IP address colon tcp port? Ie 192.168.1.100:54637 ? John W. Colby www.ColbyConsulting.com
