Thanks Donna and Gary Donna, I looked on Amazon and found the Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000 . Gets great reviews. Is this what you meant? Does the IM Video companion come budled with it? The image is fairly small, but plenty good enough for distant relatives to at least see and hear in real time. NetMeeting works as well, but for ease of use and little or no investment, Logitech webcams and the IM Video companion have worked for me.
