Yeah, visit Microsoft.com/downloads and pick up their white paper on properly configuring the firewall as it is now ON by default, the rest of the SP2, is so far considered to be a good product, however if you're using IBM software, IBM has disclosed that their users should NOT upgrade to SP2 because there are known connectivity problems in SP2.  I've also read on other tech news sites that SP2 is possibly one of the best tested SP's from Microsoft to come in a loooong time.  

so it sounds as if it's good, just remember to cross your t's and dot your i's before installing (and backup backup backup) and don't forget to backup.
