LOL, yep, there is such a thing, at least in Windows 2K / XP etc. It's called user privileges and only administrators can do certain things. Are you using Win2K / XP, and if so are you an administrator? John W. I'm again using the Startup Control Panel that Bobby suggested. I'm taking out the checkmarks on some of the other things so I can load minimally. Same problem as Ofoto - it won't let me. I take the checkmark out, and go to the next item, and the first item changes back to a checkmarked item. So, is there such a thing as the registry being locked?
