Just an update, I just started a VPN channel to a client, started a fair
size download, then called that client on my Vonage telephone.  The
connection was indistinguishable from a regular phone.  As the file transfer
finished, I closed the VPN all while talking to the client.  No clicks, pops
or other audible problems.

I use the "behind the router" scenario such that the Vonage voice modem
plugs in to my router like any other computer in my network, so I am not
even using their QOS stuff.
