I've got a Netgear ME102 Wireless router and Netgear MA112 cards and they work fine - 90%+ signal in the room with the two pc's, and the laptop works fine with the LinkSys wireless card... I appreciate that my house probably isn't as big as some American ones, but the laptop works fine next door too... But I happen to know that both my neighbours are completely computer illterate, so I don't have to worry about that too much. I've two several years old but still in use wireless phones: - Panasonic One Touch KXTC1410 900Mhz (made in Mexico) - works well; - Panasonic Super Range KXTC1019-RUB (made in Malaysia) - I don't know what radio waves frequency it uses - it works badly even without walls. Although with elongated aerial it works well. I think they shouldn't interfere with harware working of 2.4Ghz... > You can try to use another channel on your router. Yes, I've seen there are other (10) channels available - I will try them if the connection on the default 6th channel will degrade - it's good enough now to stop experimenting and return to my programming work... Thanks for your help!
